Through the Eyes of a Child - Painting for Prevention & Adoption

Richland County Children’s Services sponsored (10) 4’ x 8’ Artwork Installations in the themes highlighting children, kinship, mixed families, adoption. 10 art panels painted by artists, with a mural unveiling happening on April 26th at The Renaissance Theatre, Buckeye Imagination, and at 166.
Love as confetti shaped hearts fly through the air. The blue butterfly and blue sky represent the "Ohio Wears Blue" prevention and awareness month.
My concept. Throughout the world butterflies represent rebirth, transformation, renewal and liberation.
In this mural a child riding high above the churning storm clouds on the back of a butterfly symbolizes the child’s liberation from darkness.
The child is reborn and transformed as brave forces watch over them ensuring a graceful transformation. The butterfly encourages the child to flow through this transformation with confidence.
