I am a 1986 graduate of The American Academy of Art in Chicago, Illinois. For over thirty years, I’ve been blending my commercial art experience with traditional fine art education to create popular modern compositions.
Evelia Designs, LLC was created in 2007, supporting clients creating 2D illustrations and print collateral. My strengths lie in working with a clients vision of their brand expression. Much of my licensed artwork depicts natural environments with an assortment of animals, birds and aquatic life. These have been licensed by wall decor print, canvas and gift publishers.
As an artist and designer, Evelia Designs popularity reached new heights when I was selected as The Official Artist for the 2014 National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC.
My artistic influences include early Chinese and Japanese block prints, early American illustrators like Howard Pyle and N. C. Wyeth, and the Arts and Crafts/Prairie Style movements in architecture and interior design.
